Every conversation you have—whether with a colleague, client or leader—is shaped by your personal preferences and ways of working. In this bite-sized learning campaign, you’ll discover how to recognize your own style, identify the styles of others and adapt your approach for greater influence and stronger relationships.
Over a series of short, mobile-friendly lessons, you’ll learn to:
- Understand your preferred interaction style and how it affects your ability to communicate and influence others.
- Identify cues to quickly recognize other people’s styles.
- Flex your approach to improve collaboration, reduce tension and enhance results.
- Apply practical strategies to real-world workplace and personal interactions for greater influence.
By the end of this micro-learning journey, you will have the tools and confidence to adapt your communication in any situation—making you a more effective team member, leader, and influencer. The skills you develop will not only improve day-to-day conversations but also strengthen trust, increase cooperation and help you achieve your goals through more productive interactions.
Course Logistics
Once enrolled, you will have access to the course and lessons for 30 days. Each micro-lesson is released upon completion of the previous one. Lessons vary in length from 3 - 14 minutes each. The course includes 7 lessons and a self-check once all lessons are complete, as well as a downloadable certificate of completion.
You will receive a code to complete the SOLO IS® online Interaction Style inventory, a report on your perceived Interaction Style, as and the Valuing Differences reference PDF. This reference provides insights as to how to work with various Interaction Styles, including worksheets for style recognition and planning to flex.
